HP’s annual Labor Day Scramble was held on both golf courses Monday morning, September 7, under sunny skies. The rain held off until 12:45 or so… thank goodness! The 148-player field was divided into four flights, with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places earning $100, $95, $90, and $80 respectively per team in Pro Shop credit. Teams also competed for skins in each flight, with $100 available per flight. A total of 22 skins were won.

The first-place winners per flight were:

  • Flight 1(Sabal): Sandee Caccavo, Jeff Beavers, Jim Wesoloski, and Kevin McElroy.
  • Flight 2 (Sabal): Sue & Jerry Sauro, Kathy Hanna, and Chris Dutoit.
  • Flight 3 (Royal): Susie & Stu Draper, and Donna & Roger Lussier.
  • Flight 4 (Royal): Melody & George Smothers, and Cindy & Dave Ward.

Following golf, players gathered in the Palms Dining Room for a delicious buffet.
