It is exciting to launch our 2026/27 WGA season with league opening day on November 4! The enthusiasm for our league is obvious with more than 200 women registering for the WGA within the first 30 days, and continued registrations coming in through the end of October.
To any HP ladies who have not yet joined, but are considering being a part of the WGA, it’s not too late! We’d love to have you join our community of very special Heritage Palms women. You can choose to participate in league play or social events as little or as much as you like with the convenient weekly email sign-up system. If you would like to join, just call the HP Pro Shop and they will help get you set up!
The WGA Board of Directors, the HP Pro Shop team, and many league volunteers have been busy the past several months preparing for the upcoming season activities that make our league so successful and enjoyable. Member feedback has been instrumental in tweaking our league games and calendar, as well as our social events. We’ve also launched a WGA Education Committee responsible for providing content and tools related to golf play rules to help support and enhance member experience.
We’re excited to kick off the 2026/27 WGA season with the following November activities:
• Wednesday, Nov 4 – League Shotgun
• Monday, Nov 9 – Ladies’ Member Guest
• Wednesday, Nov 11 – League Shotgun
• Tuesday, Nov 17 – Opening Cocktail Party at 5 p.m.
• Wednesday, Nov 18 – League Shotgun
• Wednesday, Nov 25 – League Tee Times
Regardless of golf skill level or participation, our members love the experience of our WGA community…one that promotes the enjoyment of golf in a welcoming environment. I’m looking forward to seeing you all back at Heritage Palms very soon!
