In response to preliminary Member Survey feedback, Committee discussions, and growing interest in additional member communication forums, we have launched a new private Facebook group: Heritage Palms Community Corner (Official- Members Only).
The group was created to provide members and residents with another convenient way to stay informed, connected, and engaged with the community. The page is owned and supported by the Club and is intended to serve as a positive extension of Heritage Palms communications.
The Community Corner page is administered by Club staff, including members of the Senior Management Team, who help monitor activity and ensure that content remains appropriate and community-focused. In addition, the group is connected to the official Heritage Palms Facebook presence to help maintain consistency and accountability.
To support a respectful and welcoming environment, several built-in moderation tools and safeguards have already been implemented. These features are designed to help reduce negativity, discourage inappropriate comments, and guide members on reporting content that does not align with the group’s standards. A member guide has also been added within the page to explain reporting procedures and encourage constructive engagement.
The goal of the group is for members to primarily receive updates related to:
• Club announcements
• Upcoming events
• Community-related information
• Positive member engagement
Facebook users who are invited to join or request to join the group are asked to confirm their HP address, or relationship with the Club, and agree to the group rules. Additionally, members who have concerns about unfamiliar accounts in the group are encouraged to contact the administrators directly via private message. The administrative team will, upon request, review the validity of accounts.
Heritage Palms hopes the Community Corner group will become another valuable communication tool that strengthens connections within our community and provides members with timely, relevant information in a secure, well-managed environment.
