Happy summer, all! We have all likely settled into our summer routines by now, whether that is life at HP without all the snowbirds crowding the courses, pools, and restaurants, or life back up north for those of us who have transitioned to another community life with cooler climates!
The WGA Board transitioned in April, and I have the honor of serving as our new WGA President. Thank you to Terri Anderson, our past President, and the rest of the incredible 2025-26 Board members, as well as Bob Kelly, the HP Pro Shop, the golf operations teams, and of course, the WGA members and volunteers for a wildly successful year! The energy and engagement were very high as we ended the season, and we’re excited for the new season that will be here before we know it!
It goes without saying that the successful functioning of a large member organization requires many volunteers with many skills sets. The following talented and eager team of women have stepped up to lead the WGA together with me as the 2026-27 WGA Board of Directors:

Many other key volunteers ensure our time together is fun and memorable, including various committee chairs and members, and event helpers. Thank you for the difference you have and will make in our league’s success. No matter how big or small, your efforts are needed and appreciated.
WGA Member Survey: By the time this article is published, you will have received a short survey, and hopefully responded, so we have your input on how we can make our league even more enjoyable. Planning our 2026-27 season activities is moving quickly, so we appreciate the timely input.

- December 2: LNHGA & WGA Christmas Scramble
