The HP Book Club will begin the 2024-25 season on Friday, October 25, at 2:30 p.m. We will discuss The River We Remember by William Kent Krueger. In the novel, Krueger explores the history of a memorable town and its residents through one compelling mystery: Who killed the town’s wealthiest landowner, a tormented bully, whom no one seemed to like? One reviewer wrote that this book is “…an excellent mystery but also so much more, making readers care about all of these flawed lives while unearthing painful truths nestled within small town America.” Sandy Wurdeman will lead the discussion.
