BLOOD MOBILE ON FEBRUARY 11
Donating blood saves lives and helps people with a variety of conditions. Lee Health needs about 800 blood donors per week to maintain a constant supply. Blood donations can help patients with leukemia, cancer, anemia, and other conditions. Blood donations can improve the quality of life and extend the life expectancy of people with blood diseases like hemophilia and sickle cell disease. Moreover, donating blood includes a mini exam that checks your blood pressure, body temperature, cholesterol, hemoglobin, iron, and pulse.
