Join Us for Fun, New Friendships, and Golf! The Ladies’ Nine-Hole Golf League is excited to get the season started!
Mark your Calendars for the following fun-filled events:
• November 4 – Opening Day: Grab your clubs and join fellow members for the first round of league play. It will be a great day to get back into the “swing” of things!
• November 11 – Welcome Back Luncheon: Let’s celebrate the new season with fun, food, & laughter as we share a meal with new and old friends. “Welcome Back Fall” is the theme, so wear your fall colors and enjoy the autumn decorations throughout the Palms Dining Room. It’s always so much fun to catch up with your old friends and get to know new ones!
• November 18 – Cocktail Social: Let’s Celebrate America at our Cocktail Social after golf. We’ll gather on the patio for appetizers, refreshing drinks, and a fun afternoon with our fellow league members.
There is still room on the luncheon and fun night committees if you’d like to help plan a fun event. Please contact our Vice-President, Carol Feehan, via email at [email protected].
Joining the FUN is Easy
League fees for the 2026-27 season are just $50, and if you want a little more excitement, join the $5 cash chip-in pool. Just drop your money at the Pro Shop for a little more excitement each week! The official league handbook is available on the HP website under the LNHGA tab. Printed copies will also be available in the Pro Shop and at the luncheon. The Handbook is helpful as it contains the season schedule, rules of the game, and many more fun and important facts.
Red / Black Tee Option
Again, this season, players have the option to play either the Red/Black Tee Combo or all Red Tees during league play. Members should select their preferred tee option at the beginning of the season by notifying the Pro Shop. The Red/Black Combo will be used for most league weeks, except for Scramble and Championship formats. Red/Black Tees are recommended for newer golfers, those that consistently drive the ball less than 100 yards, or those with limited mobility or energy.
The LNHGA Gives Back
We are proud to once again support Ray V. Pottorf Elementary School as our charity. Fundraising efforts will be spread throughout the season, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to contribute and make a positive impact on our community. We are planning a variety of fun events to add extra excitement and raise additional money to help the charity committee. We encourage all members to help support this worthy cause!
