Our annual Health Fair was held the morning of March 4, and proved to be a great success. With over 150 people in attendance, the Activity Center was a buzz. The screenings were again the highlight and included balance, blood pressure, blood glucose, and postural alignment, to name a few. The 25+ exhibitors in attendance were spread throughout the Activity Center and shared educational information and dialogue with our members.
In keeping with our commitment to maintain our designation as a Lee Health Partner in Wellness, we work with Molly Grubbs, Lee Health Community and Business Relations Representative, to provide opportunities to continue to educate and share important health information with our members at events such as our annual Health Fair as well as with our Wellness Speaker Series. Molly is a valuable resource to this community.
A big thank you to my fellow Health Fair committee members: Diane Hanson, Stasia Arcarese, Jacklyn Rechel, and Susan Smith, Lisa Schneck, our HP Wellness Director, and the many volunteers who helped to make this event a success.
Congratulations to our HP members who won a chance prize generously donated by our exhibitors and Heritage Palms. We look forward to seeing you next year at our next Health Fair!
