The HP Book Club will meet on Friday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the Activity Center to discuss
The Heart of Winter by Jonathan Evison. In this bighearted portrait of the marriage of Ruth and Abe Winter, Evison explores their seventy years together. Through the years, the Winters have fallen in and out of lockstep, and from their haunting losses and guarded secrets, a dependable partnership has been forged. One reviewer wrote, “Endlessly heartwarming and moving, this book is a reminder that true love lives in small, everyday moments.”
Club meetings are open to all residents who read the book.
