SNOWMAN TABLE CENTERPIECE
“Tis the season to be jolly,” so the saying goes. That was very evident in our 9 and 18 holer Christmas Scramble held December 4. Snowman center pieces and Christmas attire made it very colorful. Santas hit “mile” long drives to help the players on select par 5’s.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas/Holiday and New Years. We welcome back all those who decided the warm weather was far better than the cold chills, all that clothing, and snow.
The New Year kicked off with our January 8 luncheon, welcoming back our snow birds. Beehive centerpieces, yellow tablecloths, and black napkins featured the honey themed luncheon “Bee” the Ball.
A Fun Night was held on January 20, with a Western theme. Line dancing and Western-themed games were enjoyed. Members dressed up in their “Cowgirl” attire to get in the mood.
There’s still time to join the 9-hole league and enjoy the activities and players. Contact the Pro Shop and you can member charge your $50. If you’re fairly new to golf and need our League information and rules, please contact Paula Hyre.
